From the south or west to Kenmore Square:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) East to Exit 18, Allston/Cambridge. Exit left. Follow signs to Cambridge to the second set of lights. Turn right at the lights; this is Soldiers Field Road/Storrow Drive. Exit Storrow Drive at the Kenmore exit. Follow local directions below.

From the southeast:
Take I-93 (Southeast Expressway) North to Boston. Exit onto Storrow Drive. Continue on Storrow Drive to the Kenmore exit. Follow local directions below.

From the north:
Take I-93 or Route 1 South to Boston. Exit onto Storrow Drive. Continue on Storrow Drive to the Kenmore exit. Follow local directions below.

From the north shore:
Take Route 1-A through the Sumner Tunnel. Follow signs onto the Expressway North. Take the Storrow Drive exit, and follow signs onto Storrow Drive. Continue on Storrow Drive to the Kenmore exit. Follow local directions below.

From the Kenmore Sq./Commonwealth Ave:
Exit of Storrow Dr.: At the first set of traffic lights, turn right onto Beacon Street. Follow Beacon Street into Kenmore Square (where there are several intersecting streets, a bus station, a hotel, etc.). After passing the Barnes & Noble Bookstore, merge right onto Commonwealth Ave. Turn left onto Blandford Street. (You will see a red brick building, the Metcalf Science Building on your left.) Turn right onto Cummington Street. The Engineering Research Building (44 Cummington Street) is a large red brick building on the left.

Parking:
Metered parking spaces are available on Cummington Street and the streets surrounding the Center. If you do find a metered spot, please be sure to adequately "feed" the meter as ticketing occurs quite frequently. A Parking Garage (Lot K) is located on Hinsdale Street. Hinsdale Street will be the first right after you have turned onto Cummington Street. The Garage is located on the left, inside the building where the Lot K sign is posted.

Boston University is located along the MBTA Green Line. From any downtown Green Line subway station, take the "B" train heading toward Kenmore Square. After Kenmore, the train will be above ground. Exit the train at the B.U. East Stop. Look for the "Campus Convenience Store" on Commonwealth Avenue. Cummington Street begins at the corner of this store. Walk down Cummington Street and go left. The Engineering Research Building (44 Cummington Street) is a large red brick building on the left.
