![]() Affymetrix instrumentation system Pictured here are the fluidics and scanner units used to process Affymetrix GeneChip microarrays. Each microarray is used to measure the expression of all genes in a microbe in a single growth condition. We perform hundreds of such assays each year for our regulatory and metabolic network mapping projects. |
